Pleasant Meadow is owned and operated by Vahid “VJ” and Tracey Javid.
Their vision for quality assisted care was first imagined when their loved one needed
this level of assistance. The Javids felt that assisted living care should offer affordable
living in a smaller family-like environment with more personalized attention, so they built Pleasant Meadow, “a place where we would want our own loved ones and parents to live”.

Vahid “VJ”, owner, retired after 20 years at Toyota as an Assistant Manager of Engineering. VJ utilizes his mechanical engineering experience for continuous improvements in property management.
While still at Toyota he realized his dream of construction and began building single family homes that were universal design and accessible. His ultimate goal being an assisted living community.
Tracey Javid, owner, has a varied background with over 25 years in Human Resources, staffing, sales, marketing and small business operations. She is thankful to be able to draw on all that experience as owner and operator of both their Lexington and Frankfort communities. Tracey says "I am so thankful to have the opportunity to serve others in a meaningful way - both our residents and staff - we truly are all a big family. We are all blessed daily by the sweet smiles and encouragement we constantly receive from our loving residents - we treasure each and every one."
Vicki Smigel, Frankfort, Executive Director, Vicki relocated from the Louisville area to join our Pleasant Meadow family. She comes from a strong “caregiving” background where she was blessed to stay home with her three children for 16 years. Most recently she managed a care home for disabled men. She has a deep compassion and love for our residents and runs the community in Frankfort like her own home. Vicki is super energetic and fun-loving and truly enjoys being a caregiver/manager. She states, “As a caregiver, every day we touch a life or every day a life touches ours”.
Kaitlyn Clark, Marketing Manager, As the Public Relations Director, Kaitlyn brings a dynamic blend of expertise in healthcare, marketing, and staffing, fostering a powerful intersection of communication and strategic outreach. With a passion for building meaningful connections, Kaitlyn has dedicated her career to advancing the visibility and impact of organizations in the healthcare sector.
